Clinical Engineering IT Technician

TRIMEDX is seeking a Clinical Engineering IT Technician to support the operations of the Clinical Engineering Department. The successful candidate will work with clinical leadership, nursing staff, and vendors to design, develop, and implement medical device integration with hospital electronic medical records. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues with medical device integration points, working with vendors to design and improve the networking environment, and providing full life-cycle support on all integrated medical equipment.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology
• Prior experience in the support and service of medical equipment and systems
• Formal clinical equipment make/model specific manufacturer and/or aftermarket training
• Expertise with computer operating systems
• Experience with information systems and networking
• Working knowledge of HL7, DICOM, TCIP and other communications protocols and standards
