Job Description
Trimont is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr BI Engineer to join our innovative team. As a BI Engineer, you'll design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge solutions within a cloud data environment, leveraging Azure to empower Power BI applications that drive analytics and reporting across the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or information technology.
- 10 plus years of experience in report building, data analytics and cloud data processing services, preferably Azure.
- Expertise in designing and maintaining complex SQL queries and procedures.
- Strong modeling experience.
- 10 + years of experience with BI tools, e.g. PBI, Tableau, SSRS.
- 10 + years of experience with ETL tools, e.g. Azure Data Factory, snowflake, SQL, AWS Glue.
- Firm grasp of security standards, access control, Row Level Security, and data governance principles.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is preferred.
- Expert level developer utilizing DAX.
- Microsoft Certification in Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate or Data Analyst Associate.
