We are seeking an experienced Major Projects Development Manager to identify, develop, and secure mid-to-large fire and security project opportunities within a defined region. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and owning major project opportunities from early engagement through to tender, design development, proposal, negotiation, and handover.
Requirements
- Proven experience in major project sales, technical sales, or business development within fire, security, life safety, or a closely related building services sector.
- Strong understanding of complex project development, including early-stage engagement, client scoping, tendering, design input, negotiation, and handover.
- Experience securing and managing project opportunities in the £250k–£1.5m range.
- Good technical understanding of fire alarm, life safety, security, and compliance-led systems.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to qualify opportunities, understand client drivers, and focus on work that is deliverable and profitable.
