To provide non-clinical support to individuals in the community as a Certified Peer Specialist.
Requirements
- Self-identify as an individual with a serious mental illness, who is currently or formerly was a recipient of mental health services, is in the process of his/her/their recovery and has successfully completed training in illness management recovery interventions.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current certification as a Certified Peer Specialist
- Valid driver license
- Ability to drive an organization vehicle
- Act 33/34/73 Clearances (Criminal/Child/FBI Department of Human Services)
- Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- Child Protective Services Law training (CPSL)
