Medical Assistant

Support physicians and other healthcare providers in ambulatory care by delivering direct and indirect patient care, performing routine medical assisting procedures, and promoting patient comfort, safety, and quality care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a one-year medical assistant program or an accredited two-year medical assisting program
• Previous experience or training in general medical office skills and procedures
• Knowledge of medical terminology
