Job Description
This position is for a Patient Access Specialist (Financial Clearance) who will complete patient registrations/pre-registration processes and obtain accurate demographic, insurance, and patient liability information. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of financial clearance and insurance verification processes.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent
- Two years' experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office (five years for level II)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances
