Job Description
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and be registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
- Must have good working knowledge of anatomy and understanding of the principles of physics, electricity, variations of anatomical positions ā supine, prone, etc.
- Must know methods of exposure to obtain clearly defined films and to set up and operate equipment, with an emphasis on reduction in patient radiation dose (ALARA ā As Low As Reasonably Achievable)
- Maintain Continuing Education credits (24 CEU in two-year period) and other requirements to maintain ARRT certification
