Job Description
The Environmental Supervisor at MercyOne is responsible for providing effective leadership and supervision of the daily functions of Environmental Services, including planning, assigning, and monitoring colleague work performance. The role involves developing and implementing policies and procedures, staff scheduling, performance evaluations, training programs, and disciplinary actions.
Requirements
- Previous experience of 3-5 years in environmental services/housekeeping including 1-2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
- Formalized training in environmental cleaning programs and safety methodology
- Knowledge of proper and safe chemical use and handling
- Demonstrates general working knowledge of computers and department specific software
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures
