Director of Nursing

The Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services Department. They must have a minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program. They must also possess a working knowledge of Long Term care operational standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program
• Working knowledge of Long Term care operational standards
• Ability to develop and implement plans of action to ensure quality of care
• Ability to work effectively with inter-department personnel
• Ability to perform administrative requirements such as completion of medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
