Chemical Operations Technician - Dalton GA

As a Chemical Operations Technician, this role will play an integral part on the Dalton Operations Team, applying problem solving, critical thinking, and mechanical aptitude to ensure safe, reliable, operation of a modern highly automated plant.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft products
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Ability to drive a fork truck, JLG, and scissor lift
• At least 2 years of prior operating experience or maintenance experience in a production facility
• Prior experience utilizing Distributed Process Control Systems for optimal plant operations (not required but preferred)
• Chemical handling experience (not required but preferred)
• Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot pumps, automated valves, instrumentation, etc.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work some type of rotating shift
• Ability to work independently without a lot of supervision
• Ability to wear a Full Face Respirator and be successfully fit tested
