PMMA Resins Engineer Intern

Trinseo is seeking a PMMA Resins Engineer Intern to support the growth of the engineered polymers business through application development and testing on existing and new products. The internship will provide the opportunity to work with multiple Altuglas R&D engineers/scientists, generate accurate and reliable data, and maintain documentation systems.

Requirements

• High school Diploma
• Currently attending college for plastics, polymer science, chemistry, mechanical or equivalent engineering major in Junior or Senior level of study
• Exposure to polymer processing methods and equipment
• Demonstrated expertise in sample preparation and mechanical testing
• Demonstrated expertise in generating accurate and reliable data in a timely manner
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
