Legal Administrative Specialist II

Input case assignments into computer, screen each case for conflicts, and perform other duties as assigned. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and document management required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of general office procedures, equipment and administration
• Familiarity with legal office administration and criminal justice system preferred
• Knowledge of legal procedures and court rules
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Document management and internet search engines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism handling sensitive matters
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and accounting
• Keyboarding proficiency and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure with tight timelines and changing priorities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism handling sensitive matters
• Successful experience working and making decisions in a team environment
• Knowledge of Superior Court Management Information System (SCOMIS), Judicial Information System (JIS), and Electronic Case Records (ECR) preferred
• Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds
• Fluency in a foreign language a plus (Spanish)
