Requirements
- Liaise with external users in the nuclear physics experimental program, assisting with the preparation and operation of experiments
- Plan and set-up experiments within the nuclear physics experimental research program
- Maintain, operate, repair, and plan the deployment of a suite of nuclear physics detectors within the ARIEL program
- Work with various departments in Physical Science Division, providing experiment-specific training as required
- Perform light industrial, mechanical and electrical tasks as required, and performing all work safely and efficiently
- Procure, monitor and manage the budget for the inventory of tools, spare parts, etc. needed for associated tasks
- Plan, organize and effectively manage all tasks and project work
- Assist in preparing experimental safety reports
- Provide guidance and assistance to more junior employees across multiple teams
