The CNC Machinist will work in the machine shop and support operations, setting up and operating machine tools to produce precision parts. They may also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines.
Requirements
- 5-7 years' experience as a precision machinist with knowledge of conversational programming
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for effective manufacture of precision components
- Measuring skills using calipers, bore micrometers, and pin gauges
- Mechanical ability using hand tools
- Conceptual thinker, process improvement aptitude
- Ability to remain organized and pay attention to detail
- Must be a team player and possess a 'can do' attitude
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Capable of safely operating lift assist equipment, minor rigging, hoist crane, etc
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate effectively
