Process Engineer

The Process Engineer will lead operational excellence projects, from initiation to completion, working closely with all operations departments to optimize manufacturing performance. The process engineer position is responsible for determining operations to produce products and develops processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met.

Requirements

• B.S. Engineering – with previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years’ experience in the engineering field within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success in process improvements and project management.
• Statistical Analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with various inspection equipment and inspection process development (gauges, SMM, etc.)
• Familiarity with lean and six sigma methodologies, (i.e. DMAIC, PDCA, 5 Whys, Capability Analysis, etc.)
• Ability to lead and influence through all levels of the organization.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings and understanding of GD&T.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and attention to detail are critical.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Products.
