Material Handler I

Trojan Battery Company is looking for a Material Handler (2nd shift) to join our company. You will be responsible for finding material on shelves, pulling materials off the trucks and putting them in their proper storage spot, wrapping products and making them ready for shipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or greater required.
• Basic English proficiency to interpret work and apply safety instructions.
• Basic Math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to use hand and/or power tools, such as (hammers, cutting saws, nail gun, etc.)
• Identify different products and attached identifying tags or label to materials or mark information on pallets.
• Successfully complete power equipment certification.
• Follow and maintain Lead activities and 5S.
• Stage multiple orders for shipment according to appropriate loading patterns, weight distribution, method of shipment, etc.
• Coordinate, process, and ship hazardous waste, scrap, etc., in accordance with regulatory requirements.
