Job Description
The Irrigation Technician reports directly to the golf course superintendent and assistant golf course superintendent, handling day-to-day maintenance on irrigation systems, cultural practices, and other course-related tasks.
Requirements
- Handles day-to-day maintenance on irrigation system, course watering, repair
- Assists in cultural practices: spiking top dressing, aerification
- Brush, tree removal, fertilizer applications
- Work every other weekend for 4 hours, including holidays
- May be involved in driving tractors to perform various tasks, projects
- Working knowledge of small engine operation and repair, helpful but not required
