Regional Accounting Lead

Troon Customer Finance is seeking a Regional Accounting Lead to oversee accounting operations for a portfolio of managed golf clubs. The role involves managing a small team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and aligning with Troon’s internal standards.

Requirements

• Lead monthly close processes and review deliverables
• Supervise and develop a small team of accountants
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls and standard operating procedures
• Support annual external audits and conduct internal audit fieldwork as needed
• Assist operations teams with annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Analyze financial performance and identify significant variances from budgeted results
• Attend finance committee meetings and present financial insights as needed
• Collaborate with operations leaders to align financial priorities with business goals
• Lead accounting transitions for new properties and ensure smooth integration
• Coordinate with other departments on accounting matters and policy adherence
• Conduct periodic site visits to managed golf clubs
