Job Description
We are recruiting Part-Time Faculty to teach courses in economics for the Department of Business at Truckee Meadows Community College. Part-Time Faculty are essential to the college's operations and make a positive impact on students' lives. The position involves teaching course content, assessing student learning, and staying current in the teaching field. The college welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and offers paid Orientation, professional development training, tuition reimbursement, and longevity payments. Salary is $1,050 per credit for 100- and 200-level courses and $1,150 per credit for 300- and 400-level courses.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Economics or closely related field from an accredited institution
- Desire to work with students, faculty, and staff from many different backgrounds
- Ability to teach course content, assess student learning, and stay current in the teaching field
