Buyer

We are looking for a buyer to join our Strategic Sourcing Team at Trudell Medical International. As a buyer, you will purchase raw materials, components, products, and services for TMI and affiliated companies in a cost-effective and efficient manner. You will assist with contractual negotiations and agreements with suppliers.

Requirements

• Diploma in Purchasing or a related field of study
• Pursuit of Professional Purchasing or Supply Chain certification or designation is an asset
• 3 years of experience in buying or purchasing role
• Knowledge or experience in an ISO environment is an asset
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is an asset
• Computer literate with: Basic to intermediate experience in an ERP system, Basic to intermediate experience in MS Word, Basic to intermediate experience in MS Excel
• Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
