Job Description
Matrix New World Engineering is seeking an experienced Industrial Hygiene Specialist to manage and execute asbestos, lead, mold, and general industrial hygiene project consulting assignments in the New Jersey/New York metro area.
Requirements
- Independently perform and manage air monitoring for asbestos abatement, lead, and mold remediation activities.
- Conduct complex indoor air quality investigations, including sampling design and interpreting results related to water intrusion events.
- Develop complete, high-quality technical reports, memos, and addendums to document site conditions and project-related issues.
- Mentor and train Junior Technicians on field procedures, safety protocols, and sampling techniques.
Benefits
- Annual Salary Range: $40-$55 per hour
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to DOT-regulated random drug & alcohol testing.
