The Project Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and implementing new processes and technologies, introducing new prototypes and components, and providing technical support to engineering regarding design and manufacturability of new products.
Requirements
- Develop project plans and incorporate short and long term strategies
- Manage project team activities and communicate changes and progress to team members
- Maintain data and reports to track progress and monitor work to ensure quality
- Meet productivity standards and complete projects on time and budget
- Provide technical support to engineering regarding design and manufacturability of new products
- Coordinate engineering prototype projects with internal departments and suppliers
- Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate processes, tooling, and equipment for work centers
- Coordinate the design and development of fixtures within the department
- Support Lean activities and improve product flow by implementing standardized procedures and structures
