Associate General Counsel - Healthcare

The University of Pennsylvania is seeking an Associate General Counsel - Healthcare to provide legal support for the university and health systems as it relates to innovative and other activities. The attorney will advise on a wide range of legal issues impacting development activities, regulatory issues and administrative policies. Provide general legal advice to senior management, staff and employees as it relates to areas of business development to reduce exposure to legal risks and to promote compliance with legal requirements.

Requirements

• Graduation from a recognized college or university
• Graduation from an accredited law school with a J.D. degree
• Minimum of four (4) to ten (10) years of transactional legal experience
• Health care, innovation or information systems experience preferred
• Must be admitted and in good standing in Pennsylvania or other state bar
• Admission to Pennsylvania bar and New Jersey required within one (1) year of appointment
