The primary function of this position is to perform all receptionist tasks, duties and responsibilities in Student Health and Counseling. This position will provide an array of patient focused services in highly customer service oriented manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma and 3 to 5 years experience in a health care setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records is preferable.
- Highly reliable and dependable.
- Initiatives work independently with minimum amount of supervision.
- Demonstrate cultural competence/proficiency in interactions with others by treating co-workers, colleagues and those receiving service with respect and fairness at all times.
- Ability to build and maintain positive and professional relationships based on respect, trust, and safety.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Highly responsible and reliable as well as courteous.
- Unconditional ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
