Dr. Shelley Berger’s laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Cell & Developmental Biology is seeking a highly motivated Research Specialist A to join our multidisciplinary team. This person will be under the direct supervision of Dr. Charly Good, a Research Assistant Professor in Cell & Developmental Biology.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Background or interest in cancer biology, molecular biology, genomics.
- Highly motivated and organized, with a good work ethic.
- Ability to sustain independent projects as well as work as a member of a team.
- Follows protocols with attention to detail. Carefully record and organize experiments. Produce accurate and high-quality work. Think creatively to solve problems.
- Excellent skills in communication, organization, and time management. Able to work efficiently
