FAIR Engineer - Quality - (12 month maternity cover)

We are hiring for a FAIR Engineer within our Quality department to work with multiple teams across the business to produce / capture and submit First Article Inspection Reports in accordance with AS9102. The role is a 12 month, Fixed Term Contract.

Requirements

• Sound understanding of the Aerospace Industry.
• The ability to read engineering drawings, understanding Key Characteristics (KC), and Geometric tolerances.
• The ability to internalise AS9100 and AS9102.
• Demonstrable organisational, planning and programme management skills with careful attention to detail.
• A high standard of Maths and English.
• A strong interest in mechanical/electronic engineering.
• A formal qualification in Quality, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
• A PPAP/Lean Manufacturing/CI qualification or relevant experience in the application of lean tools and creations of improvement plans (six sigma)
