Job Description
The Quality Assurance Engineer (P2) is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web-based applications through structured manual testing practices. This role focuses on designing, executing, and maintaining test scenarios to support high-quality software releases while collaborating closely with cross-functional Agile teams.
Requirements
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
- Execute manual test scenarios in preparation for software releases
- Identify, diagnose, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Perform regression testing after defect resolution
- Conduct ad-hoc testing across various product features
- Validate data using SQL queries where required
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and project managers in Agile environments
- Ensure product quality standards are met before production deployment
- Explore and gain exposure to automation testing processes
