We are looking for a PhD candidate to work on reducing blood product waste in the transfusion chain, analyzing and re-designing the logistical system for blood transfusion to maintain quality and patient safety.
Requirements
- Master's degree in operations research, operations management, soft systems methodologies, systems analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis, mathematical modeling, and/or OR methods such as optimization or discrete-event simulation (DES).
- Proficient in Dutch (both spoken and written) and have a good command of English.
- Experience in or affinity for qualitative research methods, such as interviews or surveys.
