Job Description
Tufts Medicine is seeking experienced Radiation Oncology Therapists to join its Radiation Medicine team at Lowell General Hospital. The therapists will work under minimal supervision, applying ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from radiation oncologists. The role requires an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Science, certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and licensure by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in radiation therapy and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Science
- Certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Licensure by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- 1-3 years of experience in radiation therapy
