Intern

The Intern will be exposed to a range of experiences within the realm of juvenile justice executed in a trauma sensitive and treatment oriented philosophy while maintaining public safety. The Tulsa County Family Center for Juvenile Justice works with interns and educational institutions to design internships and practicums that meet their specific needs based on educational level and requirements.

Requirements

• Complete and submit an internship agreement
• Devote full attention and effort to work and responsibilities
• Engage in conduct which affords respect, courtesy and preserves the dignity of clients and others
• Comply with all laws, rules, regulations, Family Center for Juvenile Justice policies and procedures
• Serve in a manner which contributes to and supports a safe and healthful environment for clients and others
• Ability to be poised and tactful with others
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to maintain ethical standards
• Ability to work varied shifts
• Ability to understand and follow departmental policies and procedures
