Job Description
Under general supervision, performs manual, semiskilled and limited skilled work in the care, maintenance and repair of County parks and park facilities.
Requirements
- Perform semiskilled carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry and other tasks.
- Lay water services pipes, opens clogged sewers.
- Operate tractors with mowing attachments and other light automotive equipment.
- Operate various types of power equipment and hand tools.
- Paint facilities.
- Repair fences.
- Plant, maintain, trim and remove various types of ornamental plants, grasses, shrubs and trees.
- Spray pesticides, herbicides, and water landscape areas,
- Clean and maintain equipment and tools.
- May provide routine maintenance on equipment; build forms for concrete work, mix and finish concrete; and perform manual cleanup of park area.
