The Food Runner/Busser is responsible for assisting the wait staff in dining service, delivering completed tickets, removing empty/unused tableware, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. This position also involves communicating with cooks and other staff.
Requirements
- Deliver completed tickets to tables
- Remove empty/unused tableware
- Communicate with servers
- Ensure presentation of all items
- Prepare/serve soup
- Complete side work
- Maintain cleanliness of serving trays
- Set up/tear down area
- Transfer supplies and equipment
- Clean off all plate and glassware
- Re-set table in style
- Make sure the chair and floor area is clean
- Bring dishware to the dish area for cleaning
- Uphold health code regulations
