Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Risk Manager to join their North West team in the Energy & Natural Resources division. The successful candidate will support the team and senior risk managers in work packages and projects of varying size and complexity, capturing risk data, facilitating identification and prioritization of threats, opportunities, and issues, and ensuring client objectives are met.
Requirements
- Professional Risk Management experience in one or more sectors across the whole Project lifecycle
- Ability to adjust risk strategies and process in response to change
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex risk information to all stakeholders
- Conversant with risk management systems such as Safran, @risk, PRA
- Strategic awareness and critical thinking
- Ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance
- Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., Institute of Risk Management (IRM), Association for Project Management)
- Familiarity with at least one risk standard or approach (ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA)
- Risk qualification such as APM Risk Certificate Level 2 or Management of Risk (MoR)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good research and analytical skills
- Stakeholder management experience
- Experience of working within a Project Controls team
- Desire to work within the nuclear sector
