Job Description
Turnitin is seeking a Principal Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in modern frontend technologies to design and deliver intuitive, high-performing, and reliable user interfaces for our award-winning educational platform.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 2 years working on web components and Angular/React projects; building micro-frontends.
- Deep understanding of TypeScript, including advanced types, generics, and best practices for scalable codebases.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or similar tools.
- Strong debugging skills for browser-based issues and performance optimizations.
- Proven experience collaborating effectively with designers, product managers, and backend teams across geographically distributed time zones.
- Strong communication skills; ability to articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively.
