Principal Machine Learning Scientist (US Remote)

Turnitin is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Scientist to join their global team of scientists and engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Software Engineering, with a proven track record of developing novel and deployable ML models. The role involves research and development of Machine Learning models, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and communication of insights to peers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, applied math or related field
• At least 10 years of industry experience in Machine / Deep Learning, Computer Science and Software Engineering
• Strong understanding of the math and theory behind machine learning and deep learning
• Academic publications in peer reviewed conferences or journals related to Machine Learning
• Machine / Deep Learning development skills, including popular platforms
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
