Manufacturing Engineer

Turntide Technologies seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to implement new manufacturing processes and improve existing ones at their site in Gateshead, UK. The role involves following HSE legislation, analyzing and improving manufacturing systems, and collaborating with the Engineering team. The successful candidate will have experience in designing and deploying manufacturing process solutions for high volume production and a strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

Requirements

• Established experience in designing & deploying manufacturing process solutions for high volume production
• Confidence and ability to challenge / respond to technical / process issues
• Ability to take ownership of a work package; planning and scheduling own workload and the work of others
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplined team
• Ability to create technical documentation and presentation
• Understand Quality & Equipment Safety standards
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of multiple phases of the Product Life Cycle and the associated processes
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
