Bilingual Spanish Academic Tutor (Elementary - Literacy, Math & Comprehension)

At Tutor Me Education, we are seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Carson, CA. As a Bilingual Spanish Academic Tutor, you'll provide personalized instruction to students with special needs, helping them achieve academic success.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience working with students with autism and learning differences
• Background supporting elementary students performing below grade level (Grades 1–3)
• Strong understanding of foundational literacy skills, including reading comprehension and early decoding
• Experience teaching foundational math skills, including number sense, basic operations, and word problems
• Ability to support comprehension across multiple subject areas
• Skilled in breaking down concepts into clear, manageable steps
• Patient, encouraging, and able to support students who may become frustrated or emotional
