Principal Software Engineer

Twilio is looking for a Principal Software Developer embedded within the Product organization to help drive growth for the next generation of the Twilio platform.

Requirements

• 7+ years architecting and operating high-scale cloud systems
• Deep production experience in JS/TS and Python using AI-assisted development
• Proven mastery of RESTful design, setting the global standard for 'best-in-class' Developer Experience
• Ability to synthesize complex market friction into formal proposals that pivot engineering priorities
• Recognized authority with a portfolio of high-impact open source, technical keynotes, or publications
• Builder at Heart' capable of shipping the foundational JS/TS and Python reference code that inspires thousands
• Active in Cloud or AI open-source communities with documented projects, contributions, and thought leadership
