Job Description
Twitch is seeking a Sr. Software Development Manager to lead the Community Discovery team and build innovative discovery experiences on Twitch. The role involves partnering with applied science teams to integrate cutting-edge algorithms into production systems, driving the development of software and services that power critical discovery features, and overseeing the growth and career advancement of team members.
Requirements
- BA/BS in computer science or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years of experience as software engineering manager
- 5+ years of working in software engineering
- Development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages such as: Golang, Python, C/C++, Java
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scalability) of new and existing systems
- Proven ability to identify user needs and deliver customer-centric product solutions
- Experience developing and running large-scale consumer services
