The Dean of Undergraduate Studies will lead the academic program and support the growth of undergraduate programs at Texas Woman’s University. This role involves academic oversight, curriculum development, faculty collaboration, student support, and representing the institution in various committees. The Dean will work closely with the Vice Provost for Student Success to align academic priorities with student success.
Requirements
- Provide vision and leadership for undergraduate academic programs and policies.
- Collaborate with Academic Assessment on the development, implementation, and assessment of the general education curriculum.
- Work with academic colleges and departments to implement best practices in teaching, curriculum innovation, retention, and student success.
- Support undergraduate programs in embedding and assessing workforce readiness skills.
- Promote excellence in undergraduate teaching and collaborate with the Center for Faculty Success.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of undergraduate academic policy.
- Lead the Undergraduate Council and Curriculum Committee.
- Serve as a liaison to the Office of the Registrar.
- Partner with Enrollment Management.
