JCI Manufacturing Controls Engineer

Johnson Controls is a global diversified technology and multi industrial leader seeking a Manufacturing Controls Engineer to standardize and manage the Global battery acid fill, formation, testing, preparation for shipment, and separation for distribution process. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and a minimum of six years of experience in a manufacturing environment designing and troubleshooting equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering preferred)
• Minimum six years of experience in a manufacturing environment designing and troubleshooting equipment
• Previous experience with Packaging or Material Handling equipment highly desired
• Expertise in industrial controls, PLC, and HMI programming (A-B and Siemens preferred)
• Previous exposure to robotics, automation, or AGVs highly desired
• Previous experience with Vision Systems highly preferred
