Postdoctoral Researcher in Hyper-flexible 3D RF Front-End Components

Tyndall National Institute is seeking a highly-motivated and ambitious early-career researcher to contribute to cutting-edge research in RF front-end-antenna sub-systems for mmWave and THz communications and Internet-of-Space (IoS).

Requirements

• PhD degree in Electronic Engineering with an emphasis on tunable RF filters or 3D metallic waveguide RF passive components or IC-based tunable RF circuits
• Three years of Post-Doctoral or Industrial research experience in areas relevant to the role
• Three years of post-graduate design experience in waveguide-based RF passive components or IC-based RF components
• Evidence of experience in manufacturing and RF testing of components
• Strong publication record in IEEE journals and IEEE conferences in areas relevant to the role
• Good communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills with the capability of working within a project team to achieve results
