Corporate Tax Year-Round Intern

The Tax Accounting Intern Role is an entry-level position in the Tax organization that will be participating in various activities that can include: assisting with the preparation of federal and state income and franchise tax returns and work papers; assisting with the calculation and preparation of quarterly estimated tax payments; assisting with IRS and state income tax audits; performing tax research; various other income tax-related activities and development opportunities. This is a year-round paid internship located at our Springdale office.

Requirements

• Finance or Accounting major preferred
• Incoming junior or senior classification preferred, with at least one year of school remaining
• Candidates planning to pursue additional education after completing their undergraduate degree must note this on their resume to ensure full consideration
• Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, good interpersonal skills, corporate income tax knowledge and an understanding of financial statements
