The Shift Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting operational performance by effectively managing expenses, ensuring compliance with federal meat inspection and OSHA regulations, and enforcing company policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of industry-related experience (meat processing experience preferred)
- 1–3 years of supervisory experience
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, USDA, and HACCP regulations
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with standard computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA, USDA, HACCP, safety, sanitation, quality, yields, cost control, and efficiencies
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
