Mechanic Maintenance B (Night) Shift RVI-Forest, MS Truck Shop

This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Must have at least 1 year of maintenance/mechanical experience and a minimum of 6 months of work history with one employer within the past 2 years.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of maintenance/mechanical experience.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of work history with one employer within the past 2 years.
• Must have a current valid State driver’s license.
• Must be able to use basic electrical, pneumatic and hand tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 20 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
• Must be able to read and understand assignments.
• Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing.
