Job Description
M.C. DeanM.C. Dean is seeking a full-time Electrical Test Technician to join their team. The company designs, builds, and maintains cyber-physical solutions for mission-critical facilities and clients. This role involves electrical acceptance testing, maintenance, and commissioning of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment. The technician will coordinate projects both onsite and in-house, maintaining safety standards and ensuring project success.
Requirements
- NETA / NICET certification (preferred)
- Strong understanding of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting electrical equipment.
- Experience with test equipment such as Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard, and Fluke meters.
- Knowledge of insulation resistance, power factor, contact resistance, and high-potential (Hi-Pot) testing procedures.
- Willingness to travel.
