Job Description
M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to lead and perform inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment. The role involves using complex electrical test equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal system performance. Location in Quincy, WA, and a preference for travel between Washington and Virginia are important.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant electrical experience
- Valid/active U.S. Work Authorization
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards (NETA, NFPA, NEC)
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment
- Experience with insulation resistance, power factor, contact resistance, and high-potential (Hi-Pot) testing
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Physical strength and stamina for various tasks
