Job Description
U.S. Engineering Construction is seeking a Virtual Construction Pipe Fitter Detailer to model and coordinate Mechanical and Pipe Fitting BIM models under the direction of the Lead Detailer and Regional Manager of Virtual Construction.
Requirements
- Work closely with Lead Detailers and Virtual Construction Project Manager.
- Model to build and coordinate 3d, intelligent models of a project and create deliverable documents.
- Use knowledge of Revit software and building trades and codes to model, coordinate and produce shop and fabrication deliverables.
- Coordinate models with all in-house trades under direction of Lead Detailer, as well as out of house project team.
- Perform routine to complex assignments requiring a thorough knowledge of computer aided drafting system standards, practices and techniques.
- Analyze submittals, sketches, notes and other input material to determine best approach to complete drawings.
- Apply judgement and make decisions that protect US Engineering with respect to drawings and input interpretation.
- With input from supervisor, lead detailer and other team-members review work performed by the detailing team to determine accuracy.
