Job Description
This role is responsible for overseeing warehouse and operational functions, managing supervisors and office staff, and ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of warehouse/operations experience and a bachelor's degree in business, or 6+ years of warehouse/operations experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business
- 2 years warehouse/operations experience or 6 years warehouse/operations experience
- Proven leadership skills in a supervisory warehouse, operational or related role
- Knowledgeable in material handling and inventory documentation
- Knowledge of budgeting, supply contracts and shipping requirements
- Excellent math and accounting, and financial interpretation skills
- Effective communicator to a wide range of people at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong ability to build and maintain customer and supplier relationships
- Ability to project a positive image to customers
- Demonstrated product, technical and customer service knowledge
- Knowledge in applicable computer software, Microsoft Office applications: Word and Excel
- Effective communicator to wide range of people at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem solving skills
- Willing to travel nationally as required
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
