Job Description
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist I PRN - Blood Bank to work in the ICE | LPSL CPATH Transfusion Service department. The position involves performing various technical procedures, including HLA typing, antibody identification, and cross-matching. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the HLA laboratory supervisor and will have limited participation in student teaching and assisting of other personnel. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Sciences and ASCP and/or CHT certification is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Sciences
- ASCP and/or CHT (ABHI) certification
- Previous clinical laboratory experience
